Introduction
This foundation was championed by Dr Olivia Gumbo who has 20+ working experience in development sector specifically in social accountability, gender, human rights, public policy, political economy, democracy, transparency and accountability. She has been a philanthropist for more than ten years serving people with disabilities in Chiredzi District of Zimbabwe. She is the founder of Research Hub for Children with Disabilities (REHUBCD) Trust that was registered in 2021 and launched first ever Paralympics in 2022. She has published more than ten academic papers in peer reviewed international journals, authored a book chapter with University of Johannesburg and a part time lecturer for Zimbabwe Open University. She authored two books called Its for you Lord and Parenting children of influence in digital age, all the proceeds of the books are donated to REHUBCD.
